Topic: Programmable Calculators

It looks like most rallys don't care for the programmable calculators, like the TI-55 (I still have mine) but is it still possible to us one?  The only stuff I've seen are for calculators with only 1 memory storage.

Is there any rally-related programming to use with a TI-55 calculator?  I also have a TRS-80 model PC-4 (pocket computer that uses the Basic programming language) that I could write software for, but I'm not really up on the calculator stuff enough to translate.

Re: Programmable Calculators

Programmable calculators of various sorts are used by "Limited" class navigators for timekeeping.  Most users write their own programs to suit their particular needs.

I think I'm still too much of a novice to even understand how those calculator timekeeping systems work, but as long as it keeps snowing. I'll have time to look t it.  LOL
